How to mend a broken heart?

Have you experienced a broken heart before? Does somebody break your heart that you can’t even breathe for the pain that strikes you? They say that “The distance between being in love and heart break is as thin as a single hair strand”.

Undergoing such experience was very drastic. Living comfortably weeks, months, or even years after broke up was really challenging. Facing the new life, recovering from the pain, reminiscing the past, and relieving yourself from grief, anxiety, and even anger are some of the unavoidable circumstances to pass through.

Some says that it sums up in 3 major paces in mending a broken heart. First is adaptation to changes. Anyone has to adapt to changes that about to happen whenever you are healing a broken relationship. Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Changes has to be considered in order to mend a broken heart.

You have to keep yourself physically active and attractive. Eat at a regular basis, don’t skip meals. Even the pain is still there, you have to tell and believe in yourself that you have to be strong enough to face this certain level in your life. Remember that you are not the only person who experienced this kind of process. Fix yourself, don’t look dull and lifeless. Smile though your heart is aching. Smile attracts good atmosphere and relaxes your body.

Understand that we are social human being, and we need to interact with people. Isolate yourself for some time and feel free to seek for an advice and assistance from your trusted friends and family if you are ready to be ask. Most specially, have faith to trust all your woes and worries with the most powerful God, the Creator.

Secondly, after the healing process is the acceptance stage wherein you have to accept that it is natural and no one escapes from it easily. Accept that life is not yet over without him/her. Believe that you have to face/share a new world with someone who deserves the love that you are giving.

Finally, learn the lesson; know your strengths and weaknesses. Stand where you stumble upon and be ready to fix yourself. Be ready to open your new you, but if not, just keep yourself busy. Look for some activities that you are interested in. Attend group activities that promote social well being, focus on your favorite sports, hobby or family activity. Learn to experience a single life, know that being single is not a hindrance to be happy in life. Learn to love and explore yourself first. Finally, time will come that you will soon see yourself ready to love again cause you learn mend your broken heart.
